WEEK 8
Monday (3/12) -  Wednesday (3/14): unfortunately, my garmin was acting up and i don’t have any of the info for these days… but i can tell you it involved a lot more cross training than normal!  i’ve gotten into yoga and been taking advantage of the different cardio machines at the gym.
Thursday (3/15): Lululemon fun run, 3:11 mi., 10:12 min./mile, 31:46 mins.
Saturday (3/17): 7:29 mi., 11:32 min./mile, 1:24:05
this particular week was a little bit light on running because i was easing back into it after a week off.  i was also experiencing a weird tingling sensation in my shin that was making running very difficult for me.  i decided to make the conscious decision to try to ease into cross training to see what kind of changes i saw in my running and fitness.  i’ll post somewhat of a summary later.
the saturday run started in potrero hill which means the only way to get out of potrero hill included a mile of hills and the only way to get back to the start location as also a mile of hills, specifically the hill bordering dolores park.  brutal! finished kinda strong considering it was my first long run back and i was not feeling very confident.
